*A very special and notable element of the construction project required that architectural and construction teams assist in the teaching of construction principles and technology related matters to students at the technology and trade high school. School administrators recognized what a great opportunity existed to provide a “Living Laboratory” for students, studying to one day become engineers, architects and trade workers, during the construction of the new Lynde & Harry Bradley School of Technology and Trade. Prism was responsible for orchestrating this element of the construction project for the Construction Manager.

Project History
Started by a private sector collaboration, TECH began operations as Boy’s Trade and Technical High School in 1906. The Trades-school became a public facility in 1907 to meet the growing need for a skilled workforce throughout the City of Milwaukee. Many highly productive members of our community – from skilled trades people; technicians and engineers; policemen and lawyers; nurses and doctors; athletes and entertainers, and a host of other workers and business owners, trace their roots back to this institution.
The school "integrated" with girls in 1972 and following the graduation of the class of 1973 was renamed to Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School.
Because of the generous donation from Jane Pettit, the school was named the Lynde & Harry Bradley Technology & Trade High School in 2002. Ms. Pettit, now deceased, was an heir to the late Lynde & Harry, who started and built Allen-Bradley into a world leader in the field of industrial electrical controls and automation.
