Lambeau Field Redevelopment Project
Home of the Green Bay Packers
Lambeau Field is one of the most unique stadiums in all of football. The
43 year old stadium is owned by the City of Green Bay.
The nearly $300 Million redevelopment of the stadium will transform the old
facility into a new "coliseum", increasing the seating capacity of
the bowl and new suites by 10,000 seats. Seating at the new stadium will
continue to boast bleacher seats, which contribute to the unique intimate Lambeau feel,
keeping fans as close to the action as possible.
The concourses and other common areas of the stadium will be expanded,
allowing smoother and faster circulation of game day crowds. The existing
Proshop, Packer Hall of Fame, concession points of sale, locker rooms and
operations will be expanded. More restrooms and an atrium building will
be added. Total square footage is expected to more than double, going from
about 800,000 sq ft. to approximately 1.7 Million.
The project is scheduled for completion by 2003 and all games will be played
at Lambeau during construction.

As a consultant to the Construction Manager, Prism Technical will play a
significant role on the project, working with the Independent Monitor,
Cross Management, to assure the State of Wisconsin Legislature and
Redevelopment board that the
project goals of 15% MBE, 5% WBE are met.
(Note: Firms jointly certified MBE and WBE can not be counted in both
categories.) Similarly workforce hiring goals exist of 15% for minorities
and 5% for women in the construction workforce.
The Construction Manager, the Turner Construction Company is committed to achieving
