A New York Times columnist raves about Milwaukee’s downtown renaissance, consisting largely of projects coordinated by Prism Technical. The article notes city’s policy of requiring contractors to hire Milwaukee city residents for 40 percent of jobs on projects receiving city funds. This policy was once thought to be the death knell of development, but Prism has consistently shown that it can be achieved, and the city and its residents are better for it. The [list projects] have all had significant hiring targets, and Prism has gladly taken the mantle to achieve those targets.
