2016 RISE End of Year Celebration

RISE (Regional Internships in Science & Engineering) is a career and professional development program, providing meaningful work experience and professional relationships with local construction and engineering firms, consultants and planners to prepare students for success in the Greater Milwaukee infrastructure job market. The goal of the program is to provide internship opportunities for students and employers leading to a professional relationship upon graduation. RISE is sponsored by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) and conceived, developed and managed by Prism Technical Management & Marketing Services (Prism).

At the end of each summer, MMSD and Prism honor the students and companies who have demonstrated commitment to excellence through participation in the RISE program. This year marks the 8th year of the program, with over 60 students taking part in the program.

The End of Year Celebration took place at Miller Park on Thursday, August 4, 2016. The event was a huge success with students, employers, contributors and supporters in attendance. Please view the video and photos from the event below.

This year the End of Year event was held at Miller Park on Thursday, August 4th from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Employers, students, contributors and supporters were in attendance along with “BRATWURST” who mixed and mingled with guests.
